PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project's mandate was to rebrand an existing company’s brand and improve and strengthen it in the aspects lacking the brand. While also doing a complete visual rebrand of their identity while holding into account some constraints given by the company.


OBJECTIVES

The project’s main objective was doing a complete visual rebrand of their identity while holding into account some constraints given by the company. The core message that I wanted to deliver through this rebrand is that it doesn’t need to be difficult to take care of your hair; it can be done efficiently and simply. The new line of products should be able to convince them of that.

While keeping in mind the company’s constraints and the message I wanted to convey throughout the rebrand was a hard feat. During the whole process, I designed a logo which I thought perfectly encapsulated the vision that the company had for their rebrand with something more modern and thought out.

I then went about thinking of a strategic plan of how I was going to build the brand’s identity from the ground up. The approach of the brand is related to hair care and the benefits that bees and honey, had concerning hair care. Which opened my eyes to multiple possibilities when it came to the application of the brand.
Following the multiple ideas of brand applications entering my mind I created many different mock-ups that would help the brand create its own unique and personalized identity through shampoo, conditioner, hair mask bars, tote bags, a multitude of hair tools as well as their own signage.
